TUKTUK — Quebec City's first Asian-inspired night market
A brand-new urban, festive experience lands in Quebec City this summer: TUKTUK — night market, an immersive event entirely inspired by the famous night markets of Asia. The first edition runs from July 30 to August 1, 2026, at place Jean-Béliveau in Limoilou — right next to ExpoCité. A date that anyone who loves street food, Asian culture and a festive atmosphere won't want to miss! The concept? An immersive urban experience combining street food, the feel of an evening market and cultural discoveries. Restaurants, artisans and artists are on hand to celebrate with you! You wander among the colourful stalls and the smells of grilled skewers, stir-fried noodles, hot bao and bubble tea. In short, it's like taking a little trip to Asia… right in the middle of Quebec City! On the food side, TUKTUK puts the city's best addresses forward. Several local restaurateurs and exhibitors are there, including Kundah Hotel, Madame Phan, Wong, Chung Chun and Chez Tao. With that lineup, TUKTUK leads with street food, a central element of Asian night markets. A fine chance to discover Quebec City's Asian food scene, gathered in one single place. As Erwan Franchet, president of the organization, puts it: "With the culinary recognition piling up for Quebec City, both nationally and internationally, it has become clear that our mission of shining a light on the culinary and cultural diversity here, through experiences that bring people together, definitely has its place."
