Vox Bar

A playful find in the heart of Saint-Roch! This game bar offers a selection of pinball and arcade machines in a retro setting, and also hosts a drag bingo one Sunday a month. You'll find nachos, chicken wings, Quebec jerky and pepperettes, along with beers from local microbreweries and ciders. A one-of-a-kind atmosphere, somewhere between a bar, an arcade and a neighbourhood restaurant.

The place came out of an idea from two longtime friends, brought together by their love of retro arcade cabinets and well-made cider. Since then the house has fully leaned into that second side: today it presents itself as a cider specialist, with a sharply chosen selection that's worth the trip even for someone who won't touch a controller all night.

It's also bigger than it looks when you walk in: the Vox can hold up to 250 people, which makes it a good address for a group party. Along with the pinball and arcade machines, there's a pool table and a foosball table. Good to know: most of the machines are set to free play, and on Mondays the pool table and the pinball machines are free. Open every day from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m.
