For anyone travelling by RV on the Côte-Nord, the Camping municipal de Sept-Îles is a stop as practical as it is scenic. Behind the Maison du Tourisme de Sept-Îles, at 1401 boul. Laure Ouest, this site for motorized camping vehicles offers 18 sites, 3 services, a washroom block and a sweeping view over Sept-Îles bay. Close to downtown, it's the ideal base for visiting the Vieux-Quai promenade, the shops and the restaurants of the city, while enjoying a peaceful setting. The campground is reserved exclusively for self-contained vehicles (class A, B, C, trailers and so on), but also offers 4 platforms (12 ft x 12 ft) for rustic tenting. Count on $35/night for a motorized vehicle and $16/night for the tent platforms, with a maximum of 5 nights. Registration is done at the Maison du Tourisme during opening hours.
