Our mission

Cœur Voyage is a blog about discovering Quebec and the United States. We share our stories, our itineraries, our favourite restaurants and our practical guides to help travellers plan their own trips.

The team

How we work

Every article on Cœur Voyage comes out of a trip we actually took. Here is how we work:

• We go before we recommend. No destination, no restaurant and no place to stay is recommended unless one of us has been there.
• We pay our own bills. Unless an article says otherwise, we pay for our meals, our tickets and our accommodation. The rare exceptions — invitations, partnerships — are always disclosed.
• We check the practical details. Prices, opening hours and addresses are checked as we write and re-checked at regular intervals. Every article shows when it was last updated.
• We cite our sources. When an article relies on outside data — tourism statistics, official websites — the source is named and linked.
• We correct ourselves. Found a mistake or something out of date? Write to us and we will update the article quickly.

What we value

• Honesty. If a place let us down, we say so — without tearing the business apart over it.
• Down-to-earth travel. We write for travellers on a real budget, not for luxury magazines.
• Respect for the places we visit. We favour local businesses and sustainable travel practices.
